About DJ STaN DuPP
Since his first rave in the summer of 1988, Stan's love for House Music has never faded. It wasn't until 1992, that Stan had his first experience as a Club DJ. In the middle of a 6 month Greek Island hopping sabbatical, Stan was working in a nightclub on the island of Crete. After being overheard bragging that he had been DJing for years, Stan found himself being promoted from glass collector to warm up DJ. Even though he had no idea of what he was doing, it went surprisingly well. When you drop a tune in the middle of your set and you feel the atmosphere change. The crowd recognise it, they whoop, cheer and their hands go in the air - they're loving it. There is no feeling like that! It's very addictive! Fast Forward 20 years, Stan is married, has 2year old son and has been diagnosed with young onset Parkinsons Disease. Skip another 13 years and daily life for Stan can sometimes be a struggle, but he lives by his motto "Keep Moving, Keep Smiling & Walk With Purpose". Since being a child, Stan had always listened to radio, recording mix tapes from the chart show, pausing the tape deck when the presenter spoke. Then listening to the Pirate Radio stations that grew from the Rave Scene of the 80's 90's. Those days sparked a lifelong ambition of presenting a radio show. 2019 - Marc Dicks of Platinum Radio (London) gave Stan his first 2hour slot. Now on Audio Force Radio, each week Stan presents his ECLECTIC DREAMS RADIO SHOW. He plays a wide selection of tunes, shifting through the genres which creates a top show. Make sure you join him!
